This recipe has a LOT of onions, but when the meatballs are made from local sausage meat, it's truly delicious.

Comforting, warm, perfect with a glass of red wine, and just the kind of dish that Emma needs to cook for Tasha (without the wine, obviously) in Stranger Child. The child seems lost, alone, and as if she hasn't eaten a decent meal in a while.
